Terms of Service

Please read these before you use SleevIx. They're a legal agreement between you and us — but we've written them so they're actually readable. If something's unclear, just ask.
1. By using SleevIx, you agree to these terms
These Terms of Service apply to everyone who uses SleevIx — free or paid. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the service. We've tried to keep this readable, but it is a legal document, so if anything's unclear, just ask.
2. What SleevIx is
SleevIx is an AI-powered platform that helps you write cover letters, recruiter messages, and job application answers. It also includes a humanize tool, job feed tracker, and keyword alerts. We can modify, pause, or remove features at any time — though we'll give reasonable notice for anything major.
3. Who can use it
You need to be at least 16 years old to use SleevIx. By signing up, you're confirming that you are and that the information you give us is accurate. If that's not true, please don't create an account.
4. Your account
Signing in
We use Google OAuth — no passwords stored on our end. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure, and for everything that happens under your SleevIx account.
Don't share your account
Your account is for you. If someone else uses it without your permission, let us know right away.
We can close accounts
If you violate these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account. We won't do this lightly, but we need to be able to protect other users and the platform.
5. What you can and can't do
Use SleevIx for your own job search. That's what it's for. What you can't do:
- Use it for anything illegal or harmful
- Scrape or bulk-export content to resell or redistribute
- Upload content that infringes someone else's copyright
- Create fake accounts or submit false information
- Use bots or automation to hit our APIs beyond normal usage
- Try to break into or reverse-engineer our systems
6. Your content and ours
What you upload
Your resume and profile content belong to you. By uploading it, you give us permission to process it to generate content on your behalf — nothing beyond that.
What gets generated
Cover letters and other outputs we generate for you are yours to use however you like. Take them, edit them, send them.
The platform itself
SleevIx — the product, brand, code, and design — belongs to us. Don't copy it or use it without permission.
7. Subscriptions and billing
Free plan
The free plan has limits — you can see them on the Pricing page. We can adjust those limits, but we'll give you reasonable notice before doing so.
Paid plans
Paid subscriptions bill monthly at the start of each period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from the Pricing page. You keep access to paid features until the end of the billing period you've already paid for.
Price changes
If we increase prices, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice. If you keep using the service after that, you're agreeing to the new price.
8. What we can't promise
SleevIx is provided as-is. We can't guarantee that every cover letter will land you an interview — that depends on a lot of things outside our control. AI-generated content should always be reviewed by you before sending. We do our best to keep things running, but we can't promise 100% uptime.
9. Liability limits
To the extent the law allows, SleevIx isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses — things like missed job opportunities, lost data, or lost revenue. If you do have a valid claim against us, our total liability is capped at what you've paid us in the past 12 months.
10. You cover us if things go wrong on your end
If you violate these Terms and it causes problems for us — legal fees, claims from third parties, that kind of thing — you agree to cover those costs. This only kicks in if the problem was caused by something you did.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy is part of these Terms. By using SleevIx, you're agreeing to how we handle your data as described there.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of the jurisdiction where SleevIx is registered.
13. When these terms change
We'll update this page and notify you at least 14 days before any material changes take effect — by email or in-app. Continuing to use SleevIx after that means you accept the new terms.
