Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 16, 2025

We've written this in plain language — not legalese — because you deserve to actually understand it. Short version: we collect what we need to run the service, we don't sell anything, and you're in control of your data at all times.

1. What we collect

Your account details

When you sign in with Google, we get your name, email, and profile picture — that's it. We never see your Google password, and we don't ask for anything beyond what's needed to create your account.

Your resume and profile

If you upload a resume or fill in your profile, we store it so we can reference it every time you generate something. You're in full control — you can update or delete it any time from your Profile page.

Content you generate

Every cover letter, recruiter message, or humanized draft you create gets saved to your history. You can delete individual items or wipe everything at once. It's your content.

Basic usage logs

Like any web service, our servers log standard info — IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps. We use this to keep things running smoothly, not to build a profile on you.

2. How we use it

To run the service

Your profile and resume are used to generate content on your behalf. When you hit generate, we pass the relevant parts of your profile to our AI model along with the job description you've provided. Nothing more.

To make it better

We look at aggregated, anonymised usage patterns — things like which features get used most, where errors happen. Individual resume or generation data is never part of this.

To reach you when it matters

We might email you about billing, account changes, or major service updates. We won't spam you with newsletters unless you sign up for them.

3. What we don't do

We don't sell your data

Your personal information — including your resume — is never sold, rented, or licensed to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers. Full stop.

We don't train AI on your data

Your resume, cover letters, and everything you generate stays out of AI training pipelines. Ours and anyone else's.

We don't share without a good reason

We don't hand your data to third parties unless it's necessary to operate the service (like our cloud host) or legally required. If law enforcement requests your data, we'll notify you where we're legally allowed to.

4. Security

Encrypted everywhere

All data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit over TLS 1.3. Your resume never moves around in plain text.

Strict access controls

Only a small number of people can access production systems, and every access requires multi-factor authentication. We audit this regularly.

Where your data lives

We store data on servers in the EU and US. We don't transfer it to countries with weaker protections without appropriate safeguards in place.

5. Your rights

See and export your data

Everything tied to your account is visible and exportable from your Profile settings.

Fix it

You can update your resume, profile details, and account info any time.

Delete everything

Delete your account from the Profile page and all your data is gone within 30 days — no waiting around, no hoops to jump through.

Object or restrict

If you think we're processing your data unfairly, get in touch and we'll sort it out. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

6. Cookies

Just the one that keeps you logged in

We store your session token in localStorage. That's it. We don't drop advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Analytics

We're not using third-party analytics cookies right now. If that changes, we'll update this page and ask for your consent first.

7. Third-party services

Google (sign-in)

When you log in via Google, Google's Privacy Policy applies to how they handle that authentication. We only receive the profile data they share with us.

Payments

Razorpay and PayPal handle all card processing. We never see your full card number — it goes straight to them.

AI generation

We use a third-party AI provider to generate content. We send the minimum needed — job description and relevant profile snippets. No unnecessary personal data.

8. Kids

Not for under-16s

SleevIx isn't built for anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has somehow created an account, reach out and we'll delete it immediately.

9. Changes to this policy

We'll tell you before things change

If we update this policy in a meaningful way, we'll let you know by email or an in-app notice before the changes take effect. Small wording tweaks won't warrant a notification, but anything that affects your rights will.

10. Questions?

Get in touch

If something here isn't clear, or you want to exercise any of your rights, email us at connect@sleevix.com. We'll get back to you.
